About the Role
As the 2IC Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll support the Retail Manager with daily store operations while continuing to deliver exceptional customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example in customer service and team engagement
- Assisting with prescriptions and customer product enquiries
- Supporting day-to-day store operations, including POS and cash handling
- Maintaining store presentation, stock standards, and promotions
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members as required
About You
We’re looking for someone ready to step into a leadership role who brings:
- Previous pharmacy or retail leadership experience (2IC, supervisor, or senior assistant preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Professional presentation and a customer-first mindset
- Confidence supporting store operations and team coordination
- Availability to work weekdays (approx. 20–25 hours per week) and every second weekend
Bonus Points If You Have
- Certificate I–IV in Community Pharmacy
- Experience using MINFOS or FRED systems
